ARTIST NOTES: Sunrise Over Phillip Bay is an impasto acrylic seascape on stretched canvas. The work is a representation of mysteries of Port Phillip Bay around Ricketts Point and the lush seagrass meadows on the seabed. The piece is inspired by split photography and the peace that can be found within water due to the calmness and silence that prevails when humans submerge themselves.
