ARTIST BIO

I'm an avid photographer and self-taught artist, inspired by a deep love of nature. My work focuses predominantly on Australian wildlife and birds, capturing their unique personalities while celebrating their beauty, character, and spirit.
My art practice begins with photography, which forms the foundation of every painting. Working exclusively from my own photographic references ensures originality and allows each piece to carry personal memories and emotional depth. I paint primarily in oils and acrylics on stretched canvas, generally preferring to work on larger-scale pieces.
More recently, I’ve found a passion for flow art, where paint moves freely across the canvas using the Dutch pour technique. Through flowing colour and abstract form, each work captures the energy of natural landscapes and seascapes, resulting in a one-of-a-kind original piece.
I have exhibited and sold my work over many years and been very fortunate to receive various art and photography awards at local and national levels. I now aim to dedicate a greater portion of my life to the creative process…. life is simply too short not to follow your passions! With so many creative ideas still to explore, I often wish there were more hours in the day to immerse myself in the artistic chaos of my studio.
